Mortgage insurance provider Essent Group (NYSE:ESNT) will be reporting results this Friday before the bell. Here’s what you need to know.

Essent Group beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 0.7% last quarter, reporting revenues of $319.1 million, up 2% year on year. It was a very strong quarter for the company, with a beat of analysts’ EPS estimates and a narrow beat of analysts’ revenue estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Essent Group’s revenue to be flat year on year at $317 million, slowing from the 6.9% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $1.77 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. Essent Group has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates twice over the last two years.
