A film shot exclusively in Binghamton and Johnson City in 2023 is set to premiere in Binghamton later this week.
The film, “Stationed At Home”, is set on Christmas Eve 1998, and follows a solitary taxi driver on the graveyard shift who awaits the sight of the International Space Station. As the hours count down, a parade of offbeat misfits derail his plans. The strangers discover unexpected unity and a newfound understanding of their place among the stars.
The film began shooting in 2023, and wrapped in one month of overnight shoots.
The Binghamton Film Office helped secure locations for the film.
The film will be premiering at Regal Cinemas beginning this Thursday at 7:00 P.M.
Showings will continue through the weekend.
