When does Nvidia report earnings? Date, time, how to tune in.

All eyes are on Nvidia‘s third-quarter earnings results on Wednesday, Nov. 19 – a barometer for the AI-frenzy that pushed markets to record highs this year, yet causing concerns on Wall Street as a possible bubble.

The AI chip giant’s valuation currently sits at around $4.6 trillion, down from earlier levels due to concerns about its artificial intelligence business. Nvidia’s shares were down more than 3% in early trading on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

At least three prominent investors have liquidated their stakes in Nvidia, fueling fear among investors. A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission this week showed that billionaire Peter Thiel sold his entire stake in Nvidia, worth about $100 million.

SoftBank also recently said it had sold all of its Nvidia shares for $5.8 billion. Both of these revelations came after Michael Burry, famous for predicting the 2008 housing crisis, revealed that he had purchased $9.2 billion in “put” options against Nvidia and Palantir. A put is a bet against a stock that profits from its decline.

The company’s results are expected to sway the entire sector, as the chip giant accounts for 8% of the S&P 500 index. Just last month, the company became the first to reach a $5 trillion market capitalization after its stock hit record highs.

Reuters reported that the earnings report could trigger a $320 billion swing in the company’s value.

Options implied a 7% move in either direction for the stock after the company releases its earnings report, Reuters reported, citing data from analytics firm Option Research & Technology Services.

Here’s how to tune into the earnings call.

Nvidia will announce its earnings on Wednesday, November 19, after the market closes. The report will be available on the company’s investor relations website at 4 p.m. ET, followed by the earnings call at 5 p.m. ET.

According to CNBC, analysts are expecting earnings per share of $1.25 on $54.9 billion in sales. That would be a 56% year-over-year increase. They’re also looking for guidance of $61.44 billion for the next quarter.

Nvidia reported better-than-expected results in its second-quarter earnings report on Aug. 27, about two weeks after it agreed to pay the U.S. government 15% of the sale of its H20 chips to China. Nvidia reported $46.7 billion in total revenue, a 56% year-over-year increase, with data center revenue rising by a similar amount.

However, analysts were expecting $41.3 billion in data center revenue and Nvidia reported $41.1.
