US tariffs will be reduced to 15%

Zurich (Reuters) -The Swiss government said ​on Friday that U.‌S. tariffs on its exports will ‌be reduced to 15% from 39% and thanked President Donald Trump for a constructive ⁠engagement.

“Switzerland ‌and the U.S. have successfully found ‍a solution: U.S. tariffs will be reduced to 15%​,” the Swiss ‌government said in a post on X.

The government thanked Trump, adding Economy Minister Guy Parmelin’s meeting with U.S.⁠ Trade Representative ​Jamieson Greer on Thursday ​had been productive.

It would give further details later on ‍Friday, ⁠the government added.
